One of the things I’ve really enjoyed since moving to NYC has been the incentive to take more photos. I’ve always liked photography but used to be terrible at actually remembering to take my camera anywhere, whereas these days our little point-and-shoot tends to live in my handbag to be ready for every opportunity.

Windows at the Whitney

Our latest cultural excursion took us just a few blocks away from our apartment, as we finally made time to visit the Whitney Museum (instead of just walking past and saying we really ought to go in). One of the most striking things about the exterior is the asymmetric design of the windows, and from inside some of the views were just as interesting as the works of art on display.
