How is it the 11th of January already? Christmas seems forever ago already, commemorated only by plenty of happy memories (we had a wonderful time in Europe with friends and family) and the addition to our lives of some excellent gifts – in particular books, foodie items, and a fun new doormat.
Our little corner of the world enjoyed a day of snowfall last Saturday, and we trudged through gently falling flakes to buy our groceries for the week (if only it had snowed so much whilst we were supposedly skiing in the Alps over the New Year…). When I posted this picture on Facebook one of my friends commented that it looked like a film set – don’t our neighbour’s decorations look lovely?!
I’m not a great one for New Year’s resolutions, but I do hope to keep up the blogging this year – we have masses in the calendar already, I just need to carve out time to write about it! Whatever happens, I hope 2017 is kind to you and yours.
